Yahoo and Alibaba have finally hashed out terms that will see Yahoo sell back half of its stake in the Chinese e-commerce site in a $7 billion deal, according to an AllThingsD report. Yahoo will sell half of its 40 percent stake, and with Alibaba valued at $35 billion, the value of Yahoo’s holdings are worth around $7 billion. The taxable Yahoo-Alibaba deal has reportedly been cleared.

Google+ rolled out a pretty massive redesign last month, which I actually liked a lot. The only problem was, and it was a big one, the changes that it made to the “Explore” section, which I happen to use a lot. For whatever reason, the team decided that placing a huge bar at the top of the page, which I called “the slidey thing”, was a good idea. Not only was it obnoxious and full.
